It's Me. Hi. I'm The Prob- I actually don't listen to Taylor Swift

But every time I am given the prompt of introducing myself, I tend to immediately think of these lyrics of hers. "It's Me. Hi. I'm the Problem, It's Me".

Luckily, I feel like I'm a good problem to know. Hi, I'm Korie and I am a first year Learning and Cognition Master's Thesis student.

After reflecting on the first week of introductions, I realized I missed some vital information about myself. One thing is that I am a Florida State alumna. I graduated with my Family and Child Science degree in 2014. So, I remember a time when Human Sciences was its own department! (Shoutout to Sandals Building). I ONLY applied to Florida State when I was a senior in high school. Everyone thought I was crazy, including my guidance counselor. However, my granddad had graduated from Florida State and I knew I had to follow in his footsteps! Luckily, I got in. What a gamble!

Another fact about me is that I am a professional photographer in the other side of my life. I've been photographing people since I was 17 years old. I have slowed down a bit in order to pursue this degree. So while I still take on clients, I mainly photograph for myself now.

I am extremely excited to be in this program and in this class!
